Is Leonardo Dicaprio Vegan?

The vegan musician, author and activist Moby may have just confirmed that Leonardo DiCaprio follows a plant-based diet. He described his opportunity to have brunch with the actor at an environmentalist’s home in New York City where they discussed animal conservation issues among other things!

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most famous actors in Hollywood, but he didn’t always know that. When Moby sold his parents’ house to them for $2 million dollars back when they were just starting out.

sarcastically describing how much money this would be worth now given all their success!  “I’ll never forget walking into my dad’s office and seeing him sitting there with his head hanging low while mom picked apart every detail.”

“The bidding war between my family and Morrissey was fierce,” said Peter. “In Los Angeles, people don’t just compete with each other; they show their biddings by fighting.”

The three people in this conversation are as passionate about environmental causes like climate change and animal rights, but their discussion was anything but boring. The topic quickly changed to how much bees love rosemary flowers before returning back again at some point during our read through.

It sounds like Leo is really trying to make the world better one step at a time. He has planted flowers for pollinators and even hosted an Earth Day brunch with vegan croissants.

What Is Leonardo Dicaprio’s Daily Diet?

Leonardo DiCaprio has a fairly healthy diet, but he’s not as strict about it as some other celebrities. He’ll usually have a vegan meal. Some of his favorite vegan dishes include stir-fry, black bean tacos, and vegetable soup.

He also likes to drink green juice and smoothies, which are packed with antioxidants and other nutrients. And of course, no one can resist an occasional pizza or burger! But overall, Leo’s diet is pretty balanced and healthy.

Leonardo DiCaprio likely enjoys a healthy breakfast consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables. He is an advocate for sustainable food practices and has been quoted saying, “We need to be the generation that figures out how to stop this climate change, and we need to do it now.” It’s clear DiCaprio is passionate about good health and clean eating.

Most likely, Leonardo DiCaprio’s lunch consists of a vegan wrap with avocado, cucumber and sprouts. He probably also enjoys a side of brown rice or quinoa and some steamed vegetables. DiCaprio is known to be a very healthy eater and follows a mostly vegan diet most of the time. He is also a big advocate for sustainability and eco-friendly living, so his diet choice makes perfect sense.

He often enjoys vegan dishes such as lentil soup, kale salad, and roasted veggies, but he also allows himself the occasional indulgence. For example, he has been known to enjoy a vegan pizza or burger on occasion. And despite his strict diet, DiCaprio says he never feels deprived because there are so many delicious plant-based foods to choose from.

Environmental Activists

While there has been much speculation about whether Leonardo DiCaprio is vegan, it’s undeniable that he’s made efforts to encourage others and inspire change in diet.

The actor is not afraid to talk about the climate crisis, and he did so in his acceptance speech at this year’s Oscars. When accepting for playing a character who goes through many hardships on screen (The Revenant), patterned after Fourier’s concept of an “survival trilogy,” Bill told everyone that “climate change really matters.”

Leo is an environmentalist who doesn’t just talk. He’s walked his walk by supporting campaigns and organizations in their fight for climate action through The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which he founded with green advocacy group Greenlight Earth in 2006 to help stop pollution before it starts down a harmful path that can’t be reversed later on if decisions aren’t made now.

Leo DiCaprio is a high-profile investor in vegan meat brand Beyond Meat, as well as the chickpea based snack company Hippeas. He has also been reported to be an avid supporter of environmental causes such as sustainable fishing practices and vegetarianism–which all seem very fitting given his character’s portrayal on screen.

Jane Goodall, the renowned ethologist and activist has been a vegan for over 25 years. In 2017 she published an article on her website highlighting how meat consumption affects our planet’s environment as well as animal welfare issues like factory farming which is not only cruel but also inefficient when you think about all those resources needed just so one person can eat their fill.

She detailed how the treatment of animals in farms is often poor, describing it as “inhuman.” She also described risks that antibiotic use poses for humans – both themselves and those who come into contact with them on a daily basis.

“I am a vegetarian and I think it’s really important that people start thinking about what they eat. If everyone became vegan or fried chicken-free, restaurant industries would fall apart because there wouldn’t be any customers! Plus we’ll all feel better with more energy in our bodies.”
